Dynamic engine range, more practical and excellent safety features of Toyota Auris
Do you know the hugely popular model of Toyota back in 2007? Yes, it is the Corolla. Toyota Auris is a rebranding of this popular model. It takes the qualities of Corolla like reliable and well-engineered transport, however aimed to improve its level by adding more upmarket feel in both Toyota engine as well as overall performance.
Auris Engine Range
Back into 2015, Toyota Auris upgraded its outlooks to remain its competitiveness with renewed looks, improved cabin tech and new materials. New engines were also added by taking BMW-sourced 1.6-litre D-4D oil-burner and a new 1.2-litre four cylinder petrol turbo. No changing is found in the entry-level 1.3-litre petrol engine whereas 1.8-litre VVTI hybrid with a CVT automatic gearbox and a 1.4-litre diesel engine is also added to boost the Toyota Auris engine Line.
The new 1.6-litre BMW-sourced diesel engine is far better than the 1.4-litre unit and is punchy enough. Its economy figures are also improved.
Interior and Design
Toyota Auris design is impressively improved. It is pretty angular and the grill is reduced in size as well as sharp looking headlights are smartly adjusted. The Toyota badge is also dominating on the front grill with full shine.
Reliability and Safety
Toyota Auris is practically spacy. There’s plenty of room available when you enter in it, and the leg room is also improved and increased from the previous one. It is also a complete package for safe and sound drive as it is equipped with seven airbags including driver’s knee airbag. In addition to the other safety kits, traction control, Isofix child seat anchors, brake force distribution and brake assistance are also added in the safety features.
